I’m really enjoying some of the looks for spring this year! Here are a few pieces I felt particularly drawn to. It’s still chilly enough here (I say chilly loosely, as most Californians should) that I haven’t been able to embrace swimwear or shorts or anything, but the easy breezy look of spring is calling to me.
Darling Draped Bow Scrunchie—I love the scrunchies right now! So happy to see them, I pretty much lived with one around my wrist or ankle throughout childhood. The long bow on this one is sweet, and an easy accoutrement for a cute (messy) ponytail.
Olivia High Rise Slim Ankle Jeans—90s mom jeans are powerfully present right now, like only 90s mom jeans could be. They are an entity all to themselves! I think brands have really done them well this time around.. I am already thinking I’ll want a pair postpartum! (Hope they’re still this cute in a year;)
Stone & Beam Modern Throw—love this Moroccan style throw. I’ve seen some of the larger Moroccan blankets subbing nicely as a cozy rug, and love that look too.
Bolinas Sunnies—I’m not usually spending a ton on sunnies, so Urban Outfitters is a great spot to find cute, playful, inexpensive ones. I love how happy and bright these are.
Shrunken Ribbed Cardigan Sweater—I picture this one with some well-fitting high-rise jeans. I love these buttons and the look is cozy and warm, without being bulky.
The Frances Loafer Mule in Leather—I want to wear these to the farmers market, and then to my free write poetry class, followed by a stroll downtown with a big bouquet of daffodils and a craft coffee. More likely, I would wear these to Target or to a doctor appointment or something. But you know what, they’re sort of buttery, beautiful loafer-mule amazing so that sounds great too.
