Nursery Inspiration

This week we’ve had some fun things arrive from our registries and it’s gotten me excited to finish our nursery up! There is still quite a bit to do for us, but we’ve painted and the crib has arrived (just needs to be put together, oh boy), so some of the necessities are in place, but all the odds and ends and moving and adjusting still needs to happen.

A few of these things are now ours (yay airplane mobile to hang in the corner of the room!) and some are just things i’d love to recreate somehow. i’m so excited to finally create our own little nursery, especially after seeing and admiring so many others for awhile now.
I find we lean towards natural things, green hues, lots of stripes, modern and clean lines with some hints of vintage nostalgia around (old planes). And I guess the last caveat is that I want everything to be cozy, touchable and boy-proof (good luck huh!). I’d love for baby boy’s nursery to reflect a lived-in place, and I’m pretty sure the ‘lived-in’ look will be easy to adjust to if not completely natural before long hehe.
