Happy love day!

to you + yours! we love love a whole lot around here, so (we hope) this day usually ends up like any other, though i do enjoy putting hearts everywhere + eating more chocolate than usual + wearing more pink/polka dots than is allowed or ok..without people wondering why 🙂

i’m not so struck this year with celebrating romantic love this month (cause we always like to celebrate romance, hubba hubba, dates, all the giddy things that we still do that are a little dopey) but this was much more on my mind this morning:

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

guhh, i could re-read those over + over again + remind myself what true love it is. in my life + with my husband, of course. but overall, all people! everywhere i go! today, i hope you know that you are loved today by those around you!! whether lover, friend, family, blogfriend or passerby!

so here’s to making sure people know they’re loved today!
