on sunday evening, our “campus family” (or..all the people we live on our church campus with) went to our monthly dermott dinner. the dermott family hosts us once a month with an incredible meal that we are not allowed to
lift a finger for
(cooking, cleaning and the like!)
it is such a blessing to have a place where we can come
giggle, relax, play games and just sit with your face in the sun..
we had dirt for dessert:
cake, oreo crumbles, gummy worms and chocolate covered raisins in a pot!
(this was preceded by pulled pork sandwiches, homemade slaw and pasta salad)
garsh, it was yummy!
and we played a game of mafia..it’s our favorite.
i was nominated to be the narrator first time around—it’s basically
on-the-spot story-telling!
i usually loathe this but it was pretty fun..if you’re wondering how it went..
well, it was about a bunnyworld. that should be all the
‘splaining ya need (dramatic wink).
oh yes and then we took silly jumping pictures in the sunset.
it was a lovely time!
oh gosh, all of these pictures are too perfect and funny! and silly jumping pictures are the best 😉
